I love spending time outside and going on walks and hikes as well as exploring new towns. I also enjoy reading as well as crafting including crocheting and cross-stitch.
Why MaineHealth Maine Medical Center?
I immediately felt welcomed into the community and love the close resident-attending relationships that MMC fosters. I also saw the great general pediatric education at MMC and to explore a new, beautiful part of the country.
Medical interests
I am currently leaning towards general pediatrics but keeping an open mind. I am also interested in quality improvement, caring for refugees, and possibly medical education.
Favorite place in Maine
I've only been to a few places in Portland but really enjoyed walking around Mackworth Island. I'm excited to explore other fun places around Maine!
What did you do before medical school?
Before medical school, I worked as a clinical research coordinator in Boston for a couple of years.
Best/worst job
My best but most exhausting job was being a camp counselor at an overnight summer camp for kids with medical needs.
