Maine is home for me. The quality of training I received here as a medical student, the passion I saw the residents had for their jobs, and the camaraderie among attendings, residents, and all clinical staff only solidified for me that Maine Med was where I wanted to pursue residency. Plus, you truly can never get enough of the Portland food scene.

I was a medical assistant at Greater Portland Health in their public housing clinics after having worked as a clinical intern with them for 2 summers during college!
