What did you do before medical school?
I worked as an Activity Coordinator at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, where I led the volunteer and dog therapy programs and worked alongside child life specialists, educators, and social work. I was also working as a crisis counselor for the Trevor Project to offer assistance to LGBTQ+ youths across the country!
Best/worst job
I've loved every job I have had, including my very first job when I was 16 working as a Dog Bather and Groomer! How could I complain about working all day with dogs? They truly were the best listeners, and I left every single day with a smile on my face and dog fur on my clothes.
