Why MaineHealth Maine Medical Center?
Ever since my time in New Hampshire for undergrad, I have always had a soft spot for New England. During my interview, I was impressed by the focus on resident success, work-life balance, and the general welcoming demeanor of all current residents and staff. I believe MaineHealth is a place where I will be supported as a medical professional and as a person. After visiting, my girlfriend and I couldn't be more excited to call Portland home.

What did you do before medical school?
I was a shot putter and discus thrower on the Dartmouth Track and Field team. Following graduation, I lived in Pittsburgh for 2 years as a clinical research assistant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UPMC and ate more pizza than I'd care to admit.
Best/worst job
Best: Dartmouth Football Gameday Operations (Most of the job was just watching the game from the sidelines)
Worst: Youth flag football referee (those parents really let me have it)
