I enjoy hiking and camping with my family. In the summer, I love to ride horseback and swim in the ocean. In the winter, we enjoy winter sports such as skiing and ice skating. What did you do before medical school?
I was a federal public health analyst for different agencies. I greatly enjoyed my time working for the Public Health Department for the US Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan.
Personal goals
To become a confident and competent general pediatrician. I would like to hike the Appalachian Trail in Maine.

I wanted to pursue training at a center of excellence in a setting that allowed for close resident-attending relationships. My family and I wanted to explore a new part of the country and enjoy what Maine’s natural beauty has to offer throughout the year.
