Why MaineHealth Maine Medical Center?
MaineHealth offers robust academic and clinical training that will best prepare me for my career as an internist/rural clinician. It boasts outstanding global health opportunities through the Pebble Street Learning Collaborative and Dr. Diamond-Falk’s commitment to East Africa. I was also impressed with the many rural/community clinics in Windham, Brunswick, and York. The entire community seems very family-friendly and personal-growth-oriented which is key at this stage of training. I’m also told that Marissa’s garden produce is a MUST!
