What did you do before Medical School
Before medical school I worked on research projects at Colorado Children’s Hospital and UCSF. I also completed a Masters of Public Health focusing on Chronic Disease Epidemiology. Outside of my academic pursuits, I had the pleasure of representing Team Great Britain for over ten years at rock climbing competitions around the world, and racing on an elite road cycling team based in Colorado.
Why Maine Medical Center?
Admittedly, prior to my interview I had only spent a total of 3 days in Maine. What drew me to MMC was the expansive natural beauty of the state and the opportunity to explore a rich and stimulating new place. The values of the program aligned with mine, and I immediately felt a supportive and stimulating connection with everyone I spoke with.
