Worked as a research assistant in primary care and adolescent parent clinic at Boston Children's Hospital, also worked as a dog walker!

Working at the local apple orchard in my hometown sorting apples and making apple cider donuts, or working as a receptionist at a yacht club
Why MaineHealth Maine Medical Center?
I did rotations at MHMMC as a 4th year medical student and loved everything about the program and hospital. I wanted to be at a large academic medical center that still had a small community feel and MHMMC is just that. I loved how close-knit and down-to-earth the residents, attendings and staff members were and the great learning environment it fostered. There are also really unique rural medicine opportunities. And of course Portland is such an amazing place to live with unlimited access to skiing, hiking, beaches and amazing restaurants/breweries. You can't beat going from the hospital to the beach in 10 minutes!
