Honestly, the reasons beyond my interest in Maine Medical Center were the intangibles. Gut feelings aside, I felt during my interview day that it was a program with a commitment to the community and a mission to serve. The faculty and the residents were down to earth. It seemed like the ideal learning environment for me.
