I worked at a community health center in San Francisco providing free and low-cost medical, gynecological, mental health and gender-affirming care.

Why Maine Medical Center?
My wife and I wanted to be somewhere where we could easily enjoy the outdoors while also being close to the ocean and family again. But what really sold me was my experience during my acting internship: the camaraderie between the attendings and residents, the variety of pathology, and the patient advocacy I was able to be part of each day. It made me excited to learn more about the community in Portland and become more involved inside and outside the hospital. The food scene here is the cherry on top.
