Belfast, ME – Due to the high level of community interest in Waldo County General Hospital’s upcoming community forum regarding labor and delivery services, the hospital has moved the event to a larger venue. The forum will be held Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 6:30 pm inside the Belfast Area High School Gym, located at 25 Lions Way in Belfast.
WCGH is reviewing its labor and delivery services in the face of declining births and staffing challenges, making it important to gather feedback from the community. It stressed that it continues to approach this conversation thoughtfully with the goal of ensuring expectant mothers in Waldo County have access to the highest quality of care.
Community members who are unable to attend can send comments to a dedicated email at waldofeedback@mainehealth.org.
