Physicians Join Maine Medical Partners

PORTLAND, Maine – Maine Medical Partners announces the following new hires.

Amit Sanyal, MD, MHCDS, has joined MaineHealth Cancer Care as Senior Medical Director. Dr. Sanyal has practiced medical oncology for more than 20 years and most recently served as the Regional Clinical Program Director for SSM Health Cancer Care in Wisconsin. He is Board certified in medical oncology and hematology. He was a fellow and resident at University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics in Madison. Dr. Sanyal completed his medical degree at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India. He also holds a Masters in Health Care Delivery Sciences from Dartmouth College.

Lindsay Corse, MD, has joined Maine Medical Partners – Falmouth Family Medicine. Prior to joining MaineHealth, Dr. Corse held multiple roles at Boston University’s Department of Family Medicine. She is Board certified in Family Medicine and completed her medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. Dr. Corse was a family medicine resident at Boston University.

Robert Isom, MD, has joined Maine Medical Partners – Nephrology. Prior to joining MaineHealth, Dr. Isom practiced as an attending physician in the Nephrology Division at Stanford University Medical Center and School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Isom completed his medical degree at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and is Board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He was a nephrology fellow at Columbia University, New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Isom was an intern and resident at New York University, Bellevue Medical Center, and assistant chief resident at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Erica Hidu, MD, has joined Maine Medical Partners, Internal Medicine – Pediatric Clinic at Maine Medical Center. She is Board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in pediatrics. Dr. Hidu was an internal medicine-pediatrics intern and resident at Maine Medical Center, where she also completed a chief resident year in pediatrics. She completed her medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston as part of the Maine Track program.

Eric Black-Maier, MD, has joined Maine Medical Partners – MaineHealth Cardiology in Scarborough with a subspecialty is electrophysiology. He is Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Prior to joining MaineHealth, he completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship and cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He attended medical school at Duke University School of Medicine, where he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) research fellow.
