ROCKPORT – Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH) is pleased to welcome Jen Williams, MSN, CNM, who joined the Waldo County Medical Partners Women’s Health in early June. She is accepting new patients.
Before joining WCGH, Williams saw patients as a certified nurse midwife at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., and at Woodhall Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. She provided a full range of midwifery care in both locations.
Williams earned master’s degrees in the areas of midwifery and nurse practitioner at Columbia University in New York City. Her undergraduate degree in international relations is from the University of Wisconsin.
Working as a coordinated team of obstetricians, gynecologists, certified nurse midwives, nurses and lactation consultants, the Women’s Health department at WCGH cares for patients at all stages of life. The practice is located inside the hospital in suite 108 with a separate entrance at 16 Fahy St.
