The Central Maine Community College (CMCC) nursing associate degree program is offered in partnership with MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital. Start with a Health Sciences Certificate, your pathway into CMCC’s nursing program, with flexible online and in-person courses designed for working professionals. Then continue your training with onsite faculty, local clinical placements and full access to CMCC’s support services.
Prepare to become a registered nurse at the associate degree level
The nursing associate in science degree blends general education courses with nursing courses to provide a sound theoretical and experiential background for nursing practice.
Students complete faculty-led clinical rotations at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital and other local health care affiliates throughout the nursing component of the program.
Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX) for licensure as a registered nurse.
