Quality care with the comforts of home

Learn about the nursing home care offered through the MaineHealth system:

A nursing home is a facility for residents who don't need to be in a hospital but cannot receive adequate and proper care at home. Nursing homes generally have nursing aides and highly-trained registered nurses available 24 hours a day. Residents are able to receive medical care and rehabilitation therapy in a home-like setting. Some nursing homes specialize in care for patients with memory problems such as Alzheimer's disease.
