Joseph N Wight Jr

After attending Wesleyan University and Albany Medical College, I completed my Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at New England Medical Center (now Tufts Medical Center) in Boston. One of my fellowship years was dedicated to advanced cardiovascular imaging.

Clinically, I enjoy taking care of patients with multiple and complicated cardiac problems. I also like to listen to my patient’s symptoms and develop a comprehensive plan for assessment and treatment. I often tell my patients that you only see a doctor for two reasons, to feel better or to live longer. Optimal medical care is best delivered through blending the knowledge of the physician with the desires of the patient. I strive to know my patients on a personal level to understand what is important to them. Through this partnership, I utilize evidence-based medicine to achieve the best outcomes possible.
