Kathryn N Hurst

My goal as a developmental and behavioral pediatrician is to help every child realize their full potential. I enjoy working with patients and their families to find an individualized approach to each child’s unique challenges. Some of these challenges may include developmental delays, intellectual disability, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, complex ADHD, anxiety, behavioral difficulties/disorders, and genetic conditions requiring ongoing developmental support.

I am committed to the highest quality of care, guided by the most up-to-date research to support my medical decision making. As such, I have a research interest in quality improvement and patient safety, whereby I seek to ensure all patients are receiving the highest standard of care to optimize their health outcomes.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring all the outdoor activities Maine has to offer, traveling with my family, reading any genre and playing tennis.
