As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I enjoy interacting with and caring for individuals across the life span with the goal of helping individuals and families understand both preventive health practices and management of acute and chronic illness. Forming a partnership to allow patients to feel comfortable asking questions and to participate in medical decision making is very rewarding. I feel that in order to render the best care, we need to listen to patient’s concerns and be sure that they are comfortable and active participants in that care.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, gardening, reading, knitting and cooking.
