Biljana D Beretich

I have been trained in neurology with subspecialty in neuroimaging and clinical neuroimmunology (conditions such as multiple sclerosis, optic neuritis, and transverse myelitis). I have also a background in acupuncture and homeopathy (which I do not practice currently).

I know that no single approach is right for every individual. I work with my patients to find the right balance of personalized disease modifying therapies and symptomatic and integrative therapies to achieve the best possible outcomes, prevent progression of disease and improve their lives. In addition, I am happy to have help with social, rehabilitation and psychological aspects of treating multiple sclerosis from my colleagues who are highly experienced, knowledgeable and always ready to help. We are building a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of multiple sclerosis which represents the standard of care for this condition.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and our three children and I find rejuvenation through rowing activities on the beautiful Casco Bay.
