Waldo County Dental Care receives $7,500 grant

Belfast, MEWaldo County Dental Care (WCDC) has received a $7,500 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. The Bank of America Charitable Foundation provides support to organizations that provide critical services and programs in order to advance local economies, create positive change and improve quality of life in the communities it serves.

As the only safety net dental clinic in Waldo County, WCDC provides critically needed oral health care to low income, uninsured patients in Waldo County. The funds provided by Bank of America will support WCDC as it works to improve access to affordable, high quality oral health care for vulnerable children and adults across Waldo County.

Dental services provided by WCDC include cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings and extractions. In some cases, dentures are offered, although additional fees may apply. To learn more, please call WCDC at 207-505-4910.
