SMHC Welcomes Eric Eisenberg, MD, to Sanford Primary Care

BIDDEFORD, MaineSouthern Maine Health Care (SMHC) is pleased to welcome Eric Eisenberg, MD, who has joined SMHC’s Primary Care practice in Sanford.

Dr. Eisenberg was most recently an Internal Medicine Physician at Skyhaven Internal Medicine in Rochester, New Hampshire. He completed his residency at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and a Fellowship in Nephrology at Boston Medical Center. He is also a graduate of Rutgers College. Dr. Eisenberg completed at his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. His clinical interests are hypertension, depression, and heart disease.

“My greatest interest is in assisting patients in managing chronic medical conditions, over time,” said Dr. Eisenberg. “Whether we are talking about hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, or depression, all conditions evolve over our lifetime. It is rewarding to provide for patients on the spectrum of disease and to aid with navigating today’s complex healthcare systems.”
