Active Research Grants
Anne Hicks, in collaboration with the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery and the Roux Institute, was selected by the COBRE in Acute Care Research and Rural Disparities for $50,000 in funding.
- Dr Hicks will be investigating the association between time evolving intraoperative hemodynamic and metabolic measures and failure to rescue complications in adult cardiac surgery patients. The ultimate goal is to incorporate the intraoperative variables of importance identified this study into the prospective risk model currently under investigation in the HEA(RT) project.
