Rebecca P Bystrom, MD

I am delighted to join Maine Medical Center as an Oncology hospitalist. I am passionate about caring for patients with complex diseases, and I have a particular interest in treating patients with blood disorders and complications of malignancy. I am also interested in cancer research, and my current work focuses on glioblastoma and pre-malignant hematologic diseases. In my spare time my husband and I like to travel, rock climb, and enjoy the many places to eat in Portland. Our favorite vacation spot is Acadia National Park, and we love to explore all that Maine has to offer!
