Community Wellness Trail

The trail, now open to the public, spans around the perimeter of the hospital grounds and is accessed by three trail heads, including a small, parking lot across from CedarWorks on Route 1. Two additional trail heads are located within the Pen Bay Medical Center Campus at Pen Bay Urology, 3 Glen Cove Drive and the Bay View Café at PBMC.

This project has been brought to the community with the support of Pen Bay Medical Center colleagues, community members and local businesses.

The Community Wellness Trail includes nine Fit-Trail stations. For your safety, please read the directions at each station and follow the instructions while participating in the activity. The target heart beat range guides located at each station provide valuable information regarding how you should pace yourself during exercise.
