Maine Behavioral Healthcare Hires Diane Mankus as Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services for Southern Maine Health Care

(BIDDEFORD, MAINE – July 29, 2019) Maine Behavioral Healthcare has hired Diane Mankus, RN, MS, LCPC as Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services for Southern Maine Health Care. Most recently Mankus was the executive director at Serenity at Summit, a 41-bed adult detoxification acute treatment services and residential clinical stabilization services treatment facility in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Prior to that, she was the director of inpatient services at an acute care psychiatric hospital with an ECT suite and adult partial hospitalization program.

“Diane’s breadth of experience, strong organizational and leadership skills is impressive and I am confident she will be a great addition to our leadership team,” said Mary Jane Krebs, FACHE, President, Spring Harbor Hospital. “In her role she will be instrumental in expanding our continuum of behavioral health services in the southern Maine region, particularly as we move toward the transition of our new Sanford hospital facility.”

In her new role, Mankus will lead the Southern Maine Health Care inpatient programs, as well as oversee the program manager of the Southern Maine Health Care partial hospital, co-occurring treatment and chemical dependency programs.
