The Coastal Healthcare Alliance strives to create healing and positive environments at Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital. Art helps to enhance the experience for our patients, families, visitors and care team members. We have a dedicated group of team members who serve on the Art Planning and Visioning Committee.

Donors have brought new life and light into the cancer care department at Pen Bay Medical Center with the purchase and installation of 18 pieces of original art reproduced on metal. The walls now feature light-filled, uplifting works by Maine artists Louise Bourne and Judy Taylor.
