Reed D Quinn, MD

Congenital Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery

Dr. Quinn completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, and his residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery and post-doctoral fellowship in mechanical circulatory assistance at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University. He also pursued a clinical fellowship in Boston at the Children's Hospital Department of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery. He started his surgical practice and the position of MMC Director of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery in 1994. In 2005, he was named Associate Chief of Cardiac Services, Division Director Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is the founder of the Maine Foundation for Cardiac Surgery. 

Dr. Quinn enjoys time off with his wife and six children and is very active in his church. Dr. Quinn’s specialties include cardiothoracic/congenital, adult, and TAVR.
