SMHC Offers Self-Referral Screening Mammograms to Non-Patients

BIDDEFORD, Maine – August 8, 2022 – Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC), part of MaineHealth, has expanded their mammogram screening services to reach all women in York country, whether or not they are current patients.
Women living in Biddeford, Saco, Old Orchard Beach, Arundel, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Sanford, Springvale, Lebanon, Shapleigh, Newfield, North Waterboro, East Waterboro, Waterboro, or Alfred, can now self-schedule their mammograms at SMHC without a primary care physician’s referral.
