The MaineHealth Food Pantry at Franklin provides healthy food to referred MaineHealth patients and care team members who are experiencing food insecurity. In Maine, one out of every five children and one out of every ten people do not have reliable access to affordable, healthy food. Our welcoming and confidential pantry provides a variety of free, fresh, frozen and shelf-stable foods that support health and well-being in our community.  

Also offered at the food pantry are infant formula, baby diapers, COVID-19 at-home testing kits, and personal hygiene items such soap, shampoo and toothpaste.

The food pantry is made possible through a partnership with Good Shepherd Food Bank.

Visiting the Food Pantry

The pantry is located on the Franklin Memorial Hospital campus at 200 Franklin Health Commons in Farmington. (Turn right at the hospital’s main entrance.) Our team will talk with you about your household needs and provide you with one week’s worth of food per visit.
