Meet Cameron

Teenage boy wearing a dark polo shirt and a New York Yankees cap

Cameron was in sixth grade when he started feeling fatigued and weak. His local hospital directed Cameron’s parents to bring him to The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, where testing revealed a diagnosis of B cell lymphoblastic leukemia. A month into treatment, Cameron achieved remission, but he still has about six months of maintenance chemotherapy to go. Now an eighth grader, Cameron enjoys snowboarding and spending time with friends.
