Mental health crisis services are designed to respond quickly and compassionately to people facing a situation they cannot handle.

A person having a mental health crisis can have behaviors that change suddenly and without warning. Think about the safety of the person in crisis and the people around that person.

Tell the dispatcher that this is a mental health emergency. If the person has a weapon or access to one, let the dispatcher know.
