As a registered nurse and a certified nurse midwife, I have dedicated myself to providing care for women and their families. I am a strong believe that the midwifery model of care
empowers women, respects their choices, encourages them to trust their bodies and work toward the common goal of a healthy baby, a healthy mother and a positive birth experience. I have been a nurse in women’s health since 1993, and a certified nurse-midwife since 2012. I have worked in a variety of roles from childbirth education and lactation consultant to labor and delivery nurse. I spend my free time with my husband, 2 children and my dog Jack.
