Where I Provide Care

Avatar 1

Sarah P Lynch, LCSW

Social Worker-Clinical

For the past 17 years, I have worked with young people with early symptoms of psychosis. In my experience with early intervention, I am most excited by the paradigm shift in the field to a more proactive, hopeful, and individualized model of treatment. This new model includes team-based treatment, a more creative approach to engagement, cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis, family groups, peer support, employment/education support and community education. I enjoy working with young people and families as they gain skills and insights in working toward wellness goals. I also enjoy fostering team-based care where team members feel supported in their work and different disciplines collaborate to provide care that is client-driven. I enjoy training other clinicians in this early psychosis team-based model including Multifamily Psychoeducation Groups (MFGs). Outside of work, I enjoy family time, biking, swimming and music.
