Global Premier Soccer Maine Designates SMHC and MMP as the Official Sports Performance Provider

saco spc 450Southern Maine Health Care’s Sports Performance Center and Maine Medical Partners Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Program will provide Certified Athletic Training Services for Global Premier Soccer Maine.


In addition to providing medical coverage at all USL-2 home games, the staff will provide injury prevention, ACL education and nutritional seminars for U9-U23 GPS ME teams, USL-2 players and staff.

Through this partnership, GPS Maine athletes will receive supervised and customized programs designed to prevent injuries, optimize physical performance and maximize recovery from injury, all under the guidance of the full spectrum of SMHC and MMP’s medical and athletic specialists.
