PORTLAND, Maine — Maine Medical Partners announces the following new hires.

Cameron Donaldson, MDCameron Donaldson, MD, has joined Maine Medical Partners – MaineHealth Cardiology as a vascular interventional cardiologist. His training culminated in 2014 with an advanced fellowship in Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed research track Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at University of Vermont Medical Center.

After earning his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, he stayed on for residency at Tufts Medical Center. He has a bachelor of science in biology from Bates College. Before returning to Maine, he served as Tufts faculty at Baystate Medical Center and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Amanda Goddard, MDAmanda Goddard, MD, has joined Maine Medical Partners – Pediatric Specialty Care, Division of Infectious Disease. Dr. Goddard comes to MMP from Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center where she was recognized by Boston Magazine in 2018 as a “Top Doctor.”

She received her medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her residency at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Goddard continued her education with a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from University of Washington, Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Goddard’s clinical interests include complicated community-acquired infections, infections in children with immunocompromising conditions, chronic infections and joint infection.
