Congratulations to the TUSM-MMC Maine Track Class of 2019

The seventh Tufts University School of Medicine - Maine Medical Center (TUSM-MMC) Maine Track class found out where they will be spending their residencies on March 15 at Match Day 2019. Counting this year’s class, more than 239 students have graduated from the program since 2013.

This year’s class is comprised of 35 medical students. Five matched to MMC. An additional four TUSM students who were not part of the Maine Track program matched to MMC.
Other Maine Track students were placed in excellent teaching settings throughout the country.

All 14 MMC primary residency programs filled through the match process with students from TUSM and other medical schools. Kalli Varaklis, M.D., MMC’s Designated Institutional Official said, “We are delighted to welcome many highly qualified medical students from across the country who have chosen to continue their education and training at MMC.”
