Julia Moore Joins Stephens Memorial Hospital

Gregory Hardy, MD, FACOG, CMO, recently announced that Julia Moore, PA,  has been hired as a Physician Assistant with the Adult Inpatient Medicine program at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Moore attended Tufts University School of Medicine earning her Master of Medical Science in the Physician Assistant Program in 2017.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Colby College. Prior to attending graduate school she worked at the Transplant Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center coordinating clinical trials in hepatology and nephrology research.

Hardy shares that in her new role, “Moore will be an integral member of the health care team for hospitalized patients at Stephens Memorial. She will work closely with the physician hospitalists and all members of the team to provide appropriate and respectful care to our patients. She will add a continuity that patients surely will appreciate. This is helped by the pleasant and caring interactions she has demonstrated with patients and staff. We are very pleased to have her join us.”

Of her new position Moore states, "I truly appreciate the warm welcome from everyone in this tight-knit community! I am honored to be working with such wonderful, dedicated patient advocates at Stephens."

Stephens Memorial Hospital is a Leapfrog 2016 Top Rural Hospital and is a member of MaineHealth.
