Maine Medical Center (MMC) supports two adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship positions. Candidates must have successfully completed four years of anesthesiology training in an ACGME accredited training program and be board eligible in anesthesiology. 

Application Process

Application to the MMC Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship program is through the San Francisco Match program. More information about the match can be found here.

Required Documents

Applicants must have the following documents to apply:

  • Current Curriculum Vitae
  • All USMLE or COMLEX transcripts (Steps 1-3)
  • Letter from Residency Program Director
  • Two additional letters of reference from attending physicians you have worked with at a U.S. teaching hospital during your residency.

We accept J-1 Visas only.

Interview Process

Interviews are by invitation only. We evaluate each application prior to extending an invitation to interview. A formal interview is required to be considered for our program. The committee will not review incomplete applications. Potential interviewees will be notified by e-mail or letter. Interviews will be held from January – March.
