About Your COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment

We want your COVID-19 vaccine appointment to go as smoothly as possible. Please review the information on this page carefully.

Before Your Appointment

  • Call 1-877-780-7545 to cancel or reschedule your appointment if:
    • You are unable to come at the scheduled date and time
    • The appointment date is less than 14 days from when you received a positive COVID-19 test result
    • The appointment date is less than 14 days from when you received any other vaccine
  • Read the MaineHealth Vaccine Consent Form. We will provide a printed copy for you to sign at the vaccine clinic. 
  • Plan to arrive 5 minutes early and to stay for at least 30 minutes. This includes 15 minutes of required post-vaccine observation. People with a history of allergies or other concerns will be monitored for 30 minutes.
  • Check the vaccine clinic locations and driving directions below. Your vaccine clinic location may not be at your local hospital.
  • Note, if you bring someone with you, they will have to wait outside (unless you need physical or language assistance).
  • Wear loose clothing that provides easy access to your upper arm. 
  • Complete the CDC Pre-Vaccination Checklist. If you answer “yes” to any of the questions, ask your primary care physician to help you decide whether you should receive the vaccine.
  • Review both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine fact sheets. We cannot predict which vaccine you will receive on the day of your appointment.
  • Bring:
    • Photo ID with your date of birth
    • Proof of Maine residency
      • This can be a utility bill or your photo ID if it has a Maine address on it.
    • Proof of health care, public safety or critical COVID-19 response employment, if applicable
      • This can be an employer-issued ID badge or a state-issued professional license.
    • Your health insurance card if you have one (insurance is not required to get vaccinated)
    • Your CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (only required for your second dose appointment)

During Your Appointment

  • A MaineHealth care team member will screen you for COVID-19 symptoms. You must be symptom free for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to be allowed into the vaccine clinic.
  • You will need to wear a mask over your nose and mouth at all times. View CDC masking guidelines.
  • We will review the documents listed above to confirm your vaccine phase eligibility and Maine residency.
  • You will be asked sign the MaineHealth Vaccine Consent Form. Please read it in advance. 
  • The vaccine will be provided at no cost to you, regardless of insurance coverage.

After Your Appointment

MaineHealth Vaccine Clinic Locations and Directions

Address: 340 County Road, Westbrook, ME 04092 (At the intersection of County Rd & Spring St in Westbrook)

Directions:

From the North via I-95 (Lewiston/Auburn, Gray, etc.)

  • Traveling on I-95 South, take exit 46 toward ME-22/Jetport/Congress St.
  • Off the exit ramp, turn left onto Skyway Dr.
  • At the next traffic light, turn left onto Congress St.
  • Drive approximately 1 mile until you reach the next traffic light (Congress St turns into County Rd).
  • Continue straight through the traffic light and take the first left turn onto Scott Drive, followed by an immediate left turn into the parking lot of 340 County Rd (Look for signs on the building that say “Maine Medical Partners Vaccine Clinic”)
  • Note: Most signage for 340 County Rd, visible from the main road, currently says “Husson University”. The vaccine clinic is located on the backside of the building, closest to Scott Drive.
  • Patients are asked to park, and remain in their vehicle, until they are called at their scheduled appointment time.

From the North via I-295 (Freeport, Cumberland, etc.)

  • Traveling on I-295 South into Portland, take exit 5B onto Congress Street
  • After driving 2.1 miles on Congress Street, veer right to stay on Congress Street (across from the Brooklawn Memorial Park)
  • Continue on Congress Street for another 1.8 miles (Congress St turns into County Rd), passing by UNUM, Dunkin Donuts and Cinemagic, until you reach the traffic light where County Rd intersects with Spring St. (Main-ly Small Engines will be on your right).
  • Continue straight through the traffic light and take the first left turn onto Scott Drive, followed by an immediate left turn into the parking lot of 340 County Rd (Look for signs on the building that say “Maine Medical Partners Vaccine Clinic”)
  • Note: Most signage for 340 County Rd, visible from the main road, currently says “Husson University”. The vaccine clinic is located on the backside of the building, closest to Scott Drive.
  • Patients are asked to park, and remain in their vehicle, until they are called at their scheduled appointment time.

From the South via I-95 (Saco, Scarborough, Old Orchard Beach, etc.)

  • Traveling on I-95 North, take exit 46 toward ME-22/Jetport/Congress St.
  • Off the exit ramp, turn left onto Skyway Dr. and drive .5 miles. When you reach the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto Congress St.
  • Drive approximately 1 mile until you reach the next traffic light (Congress St turns into County Rd).

From the North (Westbrook, Windham, etc.)

  • From Main Street in Westbrook, take Spring St for 1.8 miles, until the reach the traffic light where Spring Street intersects with County Rd. (Main-ly Small Engines will be on your left).
  • Turn right onto County Rd.
  • Take the first left turn onto Scott Drive, followed by an immediate left turn into the parking lot of 340 County Rd (Look for signs on the building that say “Maine Medical Partners Vaccine Clinic”)
  • Note: Most signage for 340 County Rd, visible from the main road, currently says “Husson University”. The vaccine clinic is located on the backside of the building, closest to Scott Drive.
  • Patients are asked to park, and remain in their vehicle, until they are called at their scheduled appointment time.

From the West (Gorham, Buxton, etc.)

  • Using Route 114 from Gorham, turn left onto ME-22/County Rd at the traffic light (Cumberland Farms landmark).
  • Travel on County Rd for 3 miles, passing by O’Donal’s Nursery, Shell gas station, and Smiling Hill Farm
  • Shortly before you reach the intersection of County Rd and Spring St in Westbrook, turn right onto Scott Dr.
  • Take an immediate left turn into the parking lot of 340 County Rd (Look for signs on the building that say “Maine Medical Partners Vaccine Clinic”)
  • Note: Most signage for 340 County Rd, visible from the main road, currently says “Husson University”. The vaccine clinic is located on the backside of the building, closest to Scott Drive,
  • Patients are asked to park, and remain in their vehicle, until they are called at their scheduled appointment time.

From the East (South Portland, Cape Elizabeth)

  • A close major landmark is the Portland Jetport
  • Near the Portland Jetport, at the intersection of Western Avenue/Johnson Rd (depending from side way you approach) and Skyway Drive, turn onto Skyway Drive.
  • Drive approximately .6 miles
  • When you reach the 3rd traffic light, turn left onto Congress St.
  • Drive approximately 1 mile until you reach the next traffic light (Congress St turns into County Rd).
  • Continue straight through the traffic light and take the first left turn onto Scott Drive, followed by an immediate left turn into the parking lot of 340 County Rd (Look for signs on the building that say “Maine Medical Partners Vaccine Clinic”)
  • Note: Most signage for 340 County Rd, visible from the main road, currently says “Husson University”. The vaccine clinic is located on the backside of the building, closest to Scott Drive.
  • Patients are asked to park, and remain in their vehicle, until they are called at their scheduled appointment time.

On the Greater Portland Metro Bus Line

  • Metro Bus Route 3 stops at the intersection of Spring Street & Country Road in Westbrook, leaving less than a 3 minute walk to reach the vaccine clinic at 340 County Road.
  • This stop is noted on the Metro website as “Husson University”.
  • Look for signs that say “MaineHealth Vaccination Clinic”.

NOTE: Please use the Scarborough Downs Payne Road entrance. The Route One entrance is closed and there is no access from Sawyer Road. We recommend that you use the driving directions below rather than Google Maps.

Directions:

From the South via I-295 North

  • Take I-95 N
  • Take Exit 42 toward ME-1/Scarborough
  • At the traffic light, turn left onto Payne Rd and drive .5 miles
  • At the next traffic light, turn right onto Scarborough Downs Rd
  • When you reach the stop sign, turn right – Scarborough Downs will be on your left

From the North via I-295 South

  • Take I-295 S
  • Merge onto I-95 S
  • Take Exit 42 toward ME-1/Scarborough
  • At the traffic light, turn left onto Payne Rd and drive .5 miles
  • At the next traffic light, turn right onto Scarborough Downs Rd
  • When you reach the stop sign, turn right – Scarborough Downs will be on your left

From US Route One

  • Travel approximately .5 miles south on Route One and turn right at Haigis Parkway.
  • Travel to the traffic light at the end of Haigis Parkway, approx. 1.5 miles, and turn right onto Payne Road.
  • Travel .2 miles on Payne Road to the next traffic light.
  • Turn right on to Scarborough Downs Road
  • When you reach the stop sign, turn right – Scarborough Downs will be on your left

Directions:

  • From Exit 32 of the Maine Turnpike/ Route I-95, turn west onto Rte 111/Alfred Street
  • Proceed approximately 11 miles, and turn left onto ME-4 South
  • Proceed approximately 4 miles, turn right onto Main Street
  • Center for Shopping will be on the right
  • The clinic is in the former Marshalls, next to the Dollar Store and Applebee’s

Directions:

From the South

  • Head North on Route One
  • Bear right onto ME-27/Boothbay Rd 9.6 mi.
  • At roundabout take 2nd exit 0.7 mi.
  • Arrive at ME-27/Townsend Ave on the left.
  • The last intersection is Townsend Ave.If you reach Emery Lane, you’ve gone too far.

From the North

  • Head North on Route One to ME-27/Boothbay Rd
  • Turn left onto ME-27/Boothbay Rd 9.4 mi.
  • At roundabout, take 2nd exit 0.7 mi.
  • Arrive at ME-27/Townsend Ave on the left
  • The last intersection is Townsend Ave on the left.If you reach Emery Lane, you’ve gone too far.

Notes:

The clinic is in the Boothbay Region YMCA building. Upon arrival, please wait outside. A MaineHealth care team member will screen and direct you to your vaccine station.

From the South

  • Travel north on Route 1
  • Make right onto Waldo Avenue
  • Travel on Waldo Avenue for half a mile
  • Turn Right onto Samoset Inn Road
  • Follow signs to parking/main entrance

From the North

  • Travel south on Route 1
  • Make left onto Warrington Street
  • Travel on Warrington Street for 1 mile
  • Turn left onto Samoset Inn Road
  • Follow signs to parking/main entrance

From the South

  • Travel north on Route 1 toward Belfast
  • Take the exit toward ME-3 W Belfast/Augusta
  • Turn Left onto ME-3/Belmont Ave/Main Street
  • In one half mile turn left onto Schoodic Drive (entering Bank of America complex)
  • Follow signs toward MaineHealth COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic
  • Travel on Schoodic Drive to Katahdin Avenue
  • Turn right onto Katahdin Ave.
  • Take immediate first right into parking lot and follow directional signs to the location.

From the North

  • Travel south on Route 1 toward Belfast
  • Take Exit toward ME-3 Belfast/Augusta
  • Turn Right onto ME-3/Belmont Ave/Main Street
  • In one half mile turn left onto Schoodic Drive (entering Bank of America complex)
  • Follow Signage toward MaineHealth COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic
  • Travel on Schoodic Drive to Katahdin Avenue
  • Turn right onto Katahdin Ave.
  • Take immediate first right into parking lot and follow directional signs to the location.

  • Take I-95 N
  • Take Exit 63 for US-202/ME-4/ME-26A/ME-115 toward Gray/Windham
  • Use the middle lane to turn left onto ME-115 W/ME-26A/ME-4 S/US-202 W/W Gray Rd
  • Turn right onto ME-26A N
  • Continue onto ME-26 N
  • Turn left onto Main St
  • Look for the Ripley Medical Office Building on your right

From the North

  • Take Route 26 South/ME-26 S
  • Turn right onto ME-117 S/ME-26 S/E Main St in South Paris
  • After 1.4 miles, turn left onto Winter Street
  • Look for the Ripley Medical Office Building on your right

From the North

  • Take ME-27 S
  • Continue straight onto Intervale Road
  • Continue straight onto Bridge Street
  • Bridge St turns left and becomes US-2 W/Water St/Wilton Rd
  • Continue straight onto Franklin Health Commons
  • Follow COVID Vaccine Clinic parking signs.
  • (If you need valet parking assistance, you may drive directly to the hospital main entrance.)

  • Merge onto US-1 N
