PACE Recognized as
Region Two EMS Service of the Year
Timothy A. Churchill, President and CEO of Western Maine Health is pleased to announce that PACE Paramedic Service, a department of Western Maine Health was recently honored as the Region 2 EMS Service of the Year by the Atlantic Partners EMS at the 34th Annual EMS Seminar.
Each year the APEMS EMS Seminar honors members of the EMS community for their contributions to the EMS System, their community and to their peers. This year awards were awarded to EMS agencies that have a strong community connection, integrated program for community injury prevention /education and a desire to improve the EMS System as a whole.
PACE was awarded the Region 2 EMS Service of the Year at the 34th Annual EMS Banquet based on the following: Public Education, Injury Prevention, Interagency Cooperation, and EMS System Development.
