SMH Run for Wellness 5K – Race Results
On Sunday, June 1, 2014 the third annual SMH Run for Wellness 5k yielded over 300 walkers and runners register for the race. Participants from the Oxford Hills Community and as far as Virginia came out and ran for the health of it!
The day’s events kicked off with a Kids Fun Run which had a total of fourteen participants. Every child that crossed the finish line received a medal for their participation. The top three finishers were: Robert Bernasky of Oxford (first place), Ian Brown of West Paris (second place), and Lincoln Merrill of West Paris (third place). Congratulations to all the participants in the Kids Fun Run! Nate McNutt of West Paris was the top finisher with a race time of 18:29. Kelly Brown of Lewiston was the first female to cross the finish line with a time of 20:11. Both Nate and Kelly received a $50 gift certificate to New Balance.
