SMH Physical Rehab Department Welcomes
Physical Therapist Tracie Alexander
Stephens Memorial Hospital’s (SMH) Physical Rehabilitation Department Director, Lissa Merrill, MSPT is pleased to announce that Physical Therapist, Tracie Alexander has recently joined the Physical Rehabilitation Department. Tracie will work full time in the Outpatient Department.
Tracie is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University in Concord, New Hampshire. She has a strong interest in orthopaedics and aspires to be a women’s health specialist. Tracie comes with 3 years of experience. She previously worked for a year and half at Wentworth Douglas Hopsital in Dover, New Hampshire, a designated trauma center with a variety of extensive rehab services. Tracie was anxious to return to her family in Maine and most recently worked as a travel therapist in a skilled nursing facility in Ellsworth for the last year.
Of Tracie’s arrival Lissa Merrill shares, “Tracie is a great fit in the department. She is friendly and comes with experience already under her belt. The patients are going to enjoy working with her.”
Tracie resides in Auburn.
