SMH July Infant CPR Class is a Success!

Stephens Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Infant CPR class on July 9th with participants, Cindy, Laurie, Helena, Heather, Kel-Sea and Louis.

This class offers the opportunity to learn the skills to do CPR and choking rescue on an infant up to the age of one year.  This is a hands-on experience with manikins where participants have an opportunity to practices these skills.  These classes are helpful to both new and experienced parents.  Our July class was made up of expecting parents, new parents and even grandmothers.  Come and have fun while learning a valuable life saving tool!

The next class will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 8:30 - 10:00 am in the Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Building.  Pre-registration with payment is required.  To register for this class or for more information please contact The Family Birthplace at 743-1562 x 6951.
