Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Services, M. Patricia Cook, RN, MBA, EdD, announced recently that Stephens Memorial Hospital (SMH) Registered Nurse Sandy Richards, CNOR, RN AS-C, who is employed as in the Operating Room recently completed a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) provider course.


The PALS program is designed to teach rapid evaluation and interventions for infants and children near or in respiratory or cardiac arrest.


Sandy has been an RN at SMH for 7 years, she resides in Norway.
