Drs. Eshleman and Kazimierczak Receive NCQA Recognition

Timothy A. Churchill, President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Maine Health announced recently that James Eshleman, DO, (right)  and Adam M. Kazimierczak, DO,  (left) of Oxford Hills Family Practice, and physicians on staff at Stephens Memorial Hospital were recently named to the list of physicians earning a 3 year recognition, beginning November 13, 2009, from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) through the Heart/Stroke Physician Recognition Program (HSRP).

This recognition also means a blue ribbon status with the Maine Health Management Coalition allowing Oxford Hills Family Practice to achieve preferred provider status with many insurers.  The HSRP assesses quality measures from the American College of Cardiovascular guidelines and measures quality on factors such as cholesterol management, blood pressure control, lipid profiles, use of aspirin and smoking status or smoking cessation advice.

The HSRP was developed and launched in 2003 through a partnership between NCQA and the American Heart Association.
