Dr. Gramse Presents in Bethel 

R. Reed Gramse, MD, Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon from the Maine Orthopaedic Center, Norway, will discuss "What's New in Joint Replacement Surgery," at a program to be held at the Bethel Congregational Church, 32 Church Street, Bethel, on Wednesday, September 16, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

The program is presented as a collaborative effort between the MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital, Norway, and the To Your Health Committee of Western Mountains Senior College, Bethel.7

Dr. Gramse will touch on topics from symptoms and treatment options - both surgical and non-surgical, as well as when to consider joint replacement.  He will also discuss what is involved in current surgeries, recent advances in minimally invasive surgery and quicker recovery times.

Dr. Gramse is a graduate of Loyola University School of Medicine, and is board certified in both Orthopaedic Surgery and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  He has been a member of the medical staff at SMH since 1996 and his primary office is located at Maine Orthopaedic Center in Norway.
