 Dr. Gramse Presents Joint Replacement Lecture

R.Reed Gramse, M.D., of Maine Orthopaedic Center will be speaking at the Harper Conference Center of Stephens Memorial Hospital (SMH) on Tuesday, September 8th at 5:00 pm.   The topic will be "What's New in Joint Replacement Surgery."


Come listen to Dr. Gramse, who has been instrumental in bringing a full joint replacement program to Stephens Memorial Hospital; and learn how joint replacement surgery, close to home, could benefit you.


Dr. Gramse will touch on topics from symptoms and treatment options - both surgical and non-surgical, as well as when to consider joint replacement.  He will also discuss what is involved in current surgeries, recent advances in minimally invasive surgery and quicker recovery times.


Dr. Gramse is a graduate of Loyola University School of Medicine, and is board certified in both Orthopaedic Surgery and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  He has been a member of the medical staff at SMH since 1996 and his primary office is located at Maine Orthopaedic Center in Portland.
