Learning Resource Center at SMH Holds Parkinson's Seminar

The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital (SMH) is holding a presentation for newly diagnosed persons with Parkinson's disease, their family members, caregivers and friends.

Dr. Edward Drasby, Medical Director of the American Parkinson Disease Association's Information and Referral Center at MaineHealth and Lillian Scenna, BS, LSW, APDA Coordinator, MaineHealth Program Manager will be presenting together on "Managing Parkinson's Disease." 

The seminar will be held on Thursday, June 11th from 6 - 7:30 pm Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Building next to Stephens Memorial Hospital.

If you or someone you love has Parkinson's disease, you may be faced with challenges and decisions. You don't have to face them alone. This presentation will explore the journey from symptoms to diagnosis including helpful information for all individuals who have an association with someone with Parkinson's Disease.

The seminar is free of charge, however registration is required.  Please call 743-1562 x289 to register.  Light refreshments will be provided.
