Oxford Hills Family Practice Exceeds Immunization Rates 2007

Oxford Hills Family Practice (OHFP) was one of only 19 out of 600 practices in Maine to receive a 90% or greater score as part of the Healthy Maine 2010 project to bring children up to age two up to date on their immunizations.

Dr. James Eshleman of Oxford Hills Family Practice was recently presented with a formal award for this achievement by the Maine Immunization Program for receiving 100% immunization coverage in 2007.

The process of recognizing practices achieving a 90% goal is part of the Maine Immunization Program's AFIX (Assessment, Feedback, Incentive, and Exchange) process that evaluated children between two and three years of age that were up to date on their DTap, Polio, MMR, and Hepatitis B immunizations.

Oxford Hills Family Practice is operated by James Eshleman, DO and Adam Kazimierczak, DO, one Nurse Practitioner, a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Practical Nurse, as well as countless other staff who contribute to the team effort that made this goal achievable.
