Frechette and Noble Sustain Level III Status

NORWAY, ME –   Registered nurses Leah Frechette and Nisa Noble have continued the status of  Clinical Nurse III in the Nursing Advancement Program at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

The Nursing Advancement Program was established to enhance professional growth and development, recognize achievement and hard work, and to retain qualified nursing staff.

Leah has been a Level III since February of 2006; Nisa since February 2007. To be continued, each Level III nurse has to participate in continuing education programs in their specialty, participate in committees and act as a role model to peers. Leah's special contributions are in computerized nursing documentation and precepting; Nisa's contributions are in a variety of competencies: OB, ICU and Med/Surg and her willingness to work in these areas to assist others.

M. Patricia Cook, Senior Vice President Clinical noted, “We appreciate their consistently high standards of caring, clinical expertise, professional behavior, leadership, and attention to patient safety. We congratulate them both on the official continuation of Nursing Advancement Level III status."

Stephens Memorial Hospital is an affiliate of Western Maine Health, which is a member of the Maine Health® family.
